Group Piano Keyboard Class

We use the Mayron Cole Piano Method for children of this age group. This is the leading group piano method in the United States. This method is the most developmentally appropriate and easiest way for children to learn to read music while learning the fundamentals of playing a keyboard. Keyboard classes are taught in small groups. Games, note reading, ensemble playing, and rhythm activities will be used to help your child retain the concepts taught. The goal of this program is to provide students with true musical literacy and this approach appeals to different learning styles and activity levels.

Classes are grouped by ages: 5-7 years, 6-8 years, and 9-12 years. We also have classes available based on levels; Menehune, 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, etc. If your child has been receiving lessons using the Mayron Cole Piano Method, please contact us and we can integrate them into the appropriate class level.

There is a recital for parents and several opportunities to perform in the community at the end of each semester. Classes are 45 minutes, once a week, for 18 weeks.
