Private Piano Instruction

Hi Everyone,

My name is Valerie; I am a pianist, vocalist, and music instructor. I moved to the Seattle area in June of 2005. Prior to that, I was living in San Diego, California, where I first began my career as a music teacher. I began teaching private piano lessons in 1999 with "California Music Studios:" and taught private and group piano lessons independently. During this time, I was also studying music theory, performance, composition and history at Palomar College in San Marcos, California and continued my studies further by transferring to the University of California at San Diego (USCD).

I have been teaching private lessons and performing at different establishments around King County. I teach beginning to late intermediate, all ages (three and up) and all styles:
Keyboard style, traditional methods, classical, pop, blues, jazz, theory and beginning composition. Each lesson is planned around the student to provide a more effective way to guide them to their musical goals.
I am always accepting new students.

In January 2010 I am offering a preschool music program called "Music for Little Mozarts"
