Review of Serena Barton, January 05, 2009
Serena is a talented artist and thoughtful teacher. She offers a variety of exciting workshops that guide her students into creating works with real depth. If you want a class where you have permission to try anything and the support to do it, go see Serena and have a wonderful time!

I'm a visual artist working in oil, encaustic, acrylic, and mixed media. I teach workshops in the above, including acrylic painting, collage, altered books, assemblage, portrait painting, and more. I teach at The Art of Your Life studio, The Village Gallery of Arts, and Paperdoll, all in Portland Oregon, Art and Soul Retreats, in Hampton, Virginia, and Portland (2009). I also teach classes on women and creativity at Portland State University.
