Lessons are scheduled weekly to meet a boxers' workout in one of the most effective, fun and interesting full-body conditioning programs in existence. Men and women alike invited to join our sessions where you will do the following:
1. Warm up and Stretching
2. 1-2 rounds of shadowboxing to check your technique and for aerobic conditioning
3. 4-5 rounds on the heavy bag to learn proper technique for power and build upper and lower body strength, aerobic& anaerobic conditioning
4. 3 rounds on the speed bag to work on eye-hand coordination and hand speedsee more

5. 3 rounds with the double-end bag to work on your balance, hand-eye coordination, accuracy and moving your head
6. 3 rounds of jump rope for conditioning and footwork
7. 1-2 rounds of light sparing at the end to work out any problems with your technique uncovered during the workout. Are you making the same mistakes you were before? Are you making any new mistakes?
8. Calisthenics: abdominal exercises, push ups, chin ups, etc.

Retallack School of Arms is not a health club. We do not offer
kickboxing , yoga, pilates, and step aerobics. We are a Boxing Club,
and we teach Traditional Boxing. We use professional training
methods, “old school” style.
Our training is tough with a focus on reactive power, power endurance,
muscular anaerobic and aerobic endurance. You begin at a level that is
suitable for you. Even if you plan to use boxing only as a fitness tool to
get in shape, be ready to tackle and learn the same drills as everyone
else in the gym. You are trained and treated no different than those
getting ready to compete. All of our members are respected as equals,
and trained as such.
Be ready to re-learn things you thought you already knew, to stay
sharp on the fundamentals of the sweet science and to ALWAYS be
prepared.
Every Weds Night from 5:30pm to 7:00pm and Sat. from 11am to 12:30pm we have a Boxing Enthusiast class, this is a great class to learn about the gym and see how much fun boxing can be. We also offer Boxing Fitness and Competitive Amateur (USA Boxing Cert required).
Retallack School of Arms Boxing Gym is officially chartered and registered with USA Boxing Commission.
