Family is the crucible for learning about interpersonal relationships. This learning will play-out for a lifetime. In this course you will learn general principles to mitigate the trauma of divorce and separation for each age child.
We will also explore how to create successful blended families. A blended family is one in which there are children from previous marriage(s) that are now going to live with a new parent and/or siblings. Successful blending can be achieved but it does require understanding the way children organize their world and the kind of communication that will allow each child to feel safe and supported. In this course we will also discover a way to blend families that brings well-being for all family members. We will bring a wealth of case histories and exercises that have proven successful during our quarter century of work in this field.
