Cold-blooded mysteries of nature: any and all reptiles and amphibians are fair game during this week of discovery. Leap into fun times with new friends as we search Balch Creek for amphibians like the Rough-skinned Newt and the elusive Giant Pacific Salamander. Travel to Smith and Bybee lakes to search for turtles, snakes and tree frogs. Travel through wetlands like Jackson Bottom Wetland Preserve and Fernhill Wetlands, keeping your eyes peeled for Red-legged Frogs and Long-toed Salamanders. Create herpetile crafts and memories to last forever.
