Sue Brantley comes from a diverse movement background that includes several forms of dance, tai chi, and qi gong. Sue began practicing yoga in 1985, and has studied with many respected Portland area and international instructors. She is certified and registered by the Yoga Alliance through her studies with Bob Smith and Ki McGraw of Seattle, who draw from many yoga and meditation traditions. She believes a blend of different yoga styles provides a wonderfully diverse, effective and engaging class.

Sue began studying Pilates in 2002 to rehabilitate a knee injury and was so impressed with the results that she decided to become a teacher and share its gifts. She is a fully certified STOTT Pilates™/® instructor, and has completed numerous specialized trainings in a variety of equipment and techniques.

Sue has also studied many types of therapeutic yoga and Pilates applications and is a certified Yoga for Scoliosis trainer. See link below for more details.

Sue teaches an eclectic style of yoga drawn from her diverse set of influences. Her style is warm, friendly, and supportive. Her clear instruction and joyful demeanor result in a relaxed yet informative experience.
