What is Qigong/Chi Kung?
Chi Kung is a Chinese form of movement and meditation that helps you to increase your energy levels and to improve your mastery over your own energy or "chi". Chi Kung helps you to help yourself.
Chi Kung includes:
- breathwork
- meditation (quiet mind)
- movement
- visualization (active mind)
Chi Kung (pronounced Chee Gung, also spelled Qigong and qi gong) includes taiji (tai chi) and some martial arts. When you learn qigong, you may do any one of these things (breathwork, movement, etc.) or any combination of them.
