The Adult II class follows a generally topical curriculum designed to “take captive every thought” to Christ, by addressing contemporary practical, and doctrinal subjects from a biblical perspective. Examples of topics include evangelism, stewardship, parenting, and discipleship. Ministry-oriented Bible study and expository methods are also periodically covered. Biblical-theological topics, such as literary genres, and the use of the Old Testament in the New Testament are also considered. A believer’s lifelong growth in grace requires continuing advance in the knowledge of the Scriptures. The Adult II class challenges the mature believer to strive for deeper and more thorough understanding of the divine revelation, as the foundation for a lifetime of God-glorifying service.
