Students will be introduced to loving God through Quranic Stories and from stories from life of the Prophet. Students are introduced to Islamic education through learning and experiencing Islamic observance of: Ramadan, Eil ul-Fitr, Eid al Adha, Eid Ghadir Khum, Eid Mabath, Milad games, artwork, and crafts. Students will join the entire school and the larger community in celebrating and commemorating these events.
Moreover, emphasis will be placed on teaching and practicing two basic virtues that are foundation of moral intelligence: self-control, and conscious (both are parts of taqwa).
We would like our children to look forward to coming to school because learning can be fun and exciting. School is where she/he is valued and has a sense of belonging, and it just "feels good" to be there.
