Apprenticeship
Subject: Tarot
In my first decade of work as a fortune teller, I've seen many faces come and go in my local community of professionals. The combination of honing a craft, with gaining confidence in the business side of the trade has proved too much for many readers. Regional hostility from competitors can also be disheartening to those coming into what I believe is the best job in existence!
After many requests, I am prepared to welcome newcomers to the business (or to divination as a personal or volunteer practice) through limited apprenticeship opportunities. At this time, I am only accepting students in the Seattle area or who are willing to travel to Renton, Washington to meet with me in person. Apprenticeship includes an unpaid internship with my company in partnership with local coffee shops, bookstores, psychic fairs, and other venues in which students might like to ply their trade.
Modeled after the Clinical Pastoral Education program I've taken at the University of Washington, I plan to offer an experiential learning opportunity of self-directed goals to help you come into your identity as a spiritual leader. What sort of asset would you like to be to the community? What are your spiritual, personal and professional goals? Do you need to begin with building basic divination skills, or are you already an experienced reader who needs to earn confidence charging for services you provide?
Though I am not a degree-granting institution, a good student can improve skills and receive a letter of recommendation and assistance with resources for starting his or her own business locally or on-line or gaining employment as a contractor.
Contact me with questions or to schedule an interview.
