Welcome to P.E.A.C.E of Mind’s first article on Teach Street. We are here to give you some “P.E.A.C.E of Mind” in regard to prevention education and family safety. We love to teach parents helpful tips and tools on keeping their family safe! We are non-profit organization dedicated to helping our community and we look forward to answering your questions and concerns as well as giving you some great tools you can use!
Here are some things you may (or may not) know. Did you know that the concept of “stranger danger” does not work? Kids don’t get it and childcare experts agree, it is not an effective strategy to teach your kids personal safety skills.

Kim, this is a great article putting a lighter twist to a serious subject. Born in the day, where we saw these types of commercials of not talking to strangers -- I was somewhat of a blacksheep where I would also talk, but obviously always in a safe setting. :)
