FITNESS CENTERS CAN CHANGE LIVES
Throughout our 25 year history, we've held fast to our mission of helping people change their lives through using fitness gyms. We recognize that every person has their own set of goals and their own very unique perspective of what a fitness center means to them. Some want to shed a few extra pounds, while others embark on a fitness journey that will fundamentally change the way they live their lives in inspiring ways.

We provide the tools, coaching and positive fitness club atmosphere you need to successfully reach your goal. Because your goal is our goal.

FITNESS CENTER HISTORY

An industry pioneer, 24 Hour Fitness is widely credited with introducing a variety of innovations to the health club landscape including; the first athletic clubs to be open 24 hours a day and the first to introduce month-to-month gym memberships.

24 Hour Fitness centers have provided the ultimate in multi-sport fitness gyms for over 25 years, making them affordable and accessible to people of all abilities and fitness levels.
In 2005, the company was sold to New York-based private equity firm, Forstmann Little & Co. for $1.6 billion. Carl C. Liebert III joined the company as CEO in October 2006. 24 Hour Fitness is headquartered in San Ramon, Calif.
