Introduction to Adobe Photoshop CS4

Adobe Photoshop has earned its reputation as the premiere Image Editing software for professionals. Our Introduction to Photoshop class is intended for beginners who wish to become proficient in Adobe Photoshop. The focus is on the fundamental skills necessary for working with digital images. We begin by uncomplicating the interface of this extremely complex software. Some of the basic skills covered include opening and closing photos, working with layers, selecting and editing the pixels on a digital image, and using filters to create special effects. Students will learn how to save images for printing and for use in websites. This class may be modified.
