Abstract Painting Techniques - Large format welcome! Join me in my studio for a weeklong painting intensive designed to stretch your creative muscles. Allow yourself to explore your imagery in long uninterrupted stretches of painting time in a fully equipped studio.

 

I will provide guidance and technical support, along with indepth critique as well as demonstrations of boundary-breaking techniques I use in my large format pieces.

 

Explore practically everything Golden has to offer including OPEN, Digital Mixed Media, gels and mediums and grounds all provided for your exploration!

 

Bring your toughest questions and your most ambitious projects! Suitable for intermediate to advanced.

Tesia has been a working artist in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 20 years. In 2000 she was hired by Golden Artist Colors, as the Golden Working Artist in San Francisco and in that capacity she lectures and teaches throughout the Bay Area. She received her BFA from the Academy of Art in 1984, studied lithography at the San Francisco Art Institute in 1990 and received her Masters of Art in 1992 at John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, California. Tesia has taught at the Mendocino Art Center, Palo Alto Art Center, San Francisco City College, Santa Fe NM Community College, the Randall Museum in San Francisco, Walnut Creek Civic Arts, her own studio and other facilities. "I am passionate about painting and teaching. I love opening up new doors for inquisitive minds and helping more experienced artists recharge when they hit a wall. I believe we all have a big, juicy, creative artist living inside us. Come paint with me and discover how wonderful you are!"
