My comprehensive method is innovative and personalized. . . Whether you're a seasoned performer or a beginning student, you will be encouraged to proactively direct your own personalized program. All technique and repertoire will be systematically graduated, to accomodate your individual pacing, and to ensure your relaxation and confidence.

My goal is to instill the highest musical standards - emphasizing beauty of tone - to engage a critical ear and to inspire artistic expression...

For all ages, my approach is one of mutual exploration... With kindness, patience, and humor, I impart the joy of learning, creating and sharing music!

I teach out of my studio is in San Pablo (between El Cerrito and Pinole). If a student is unable to come to me, I can make exceptions (depending upon travel distance and time) for an adjusted fee.

I freelanced in Philadelphia 10 years with the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra (Concerto Soloists), Philadelphia Opera Company, Pennsylvania Ballet, Peter Nero & the Philly Pops, Delaware Symphony, Atlantic City shows, etc.

Since relocating to California in 2003, I've freelanced with the Los Angeles Opera, Hollywood Symphony, Pasadena Symphony, Glendale Symphony, Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, Musical Shows at the L.A. Music Center and Orange County Performing Arts Center. In addition, I've played in the recording industry, for CD recordings (Capitol Records, etc), and numerous film/video sessions at major movie studios. I was also a private instructor for the L.A. Harmony Project.

Although I commute back and forth from Los Angeles to the San Francisco Bay area for various engagements, I've just relocated to the Bay area. Here I teach privately, freelance, and perform solo recitals locally and abroad.
