Tai Chi @ Hakone Japanese Tea Gardens
Subject: Tai Chi
This low-impact, meditative, and graceful form of exercise promotes strength, balance, relaxation, and health of the body and mind. It is a whole-body movement, benefiting all ages. Class covers Chi Kung warm-ups, basic principles of Tai Chi movement, the Tai Chi form, and Tai Chi philosophy. Linda has practiced Tai Chi since 1988; has been teaching since 1995. She has extensive background in yoga, meditation and education; has a current teaching credential, and a Masters in Vocational Rehabilitation.
Date: On-going Thursday sessions from May 7 through August 27, 2009. (No class June 4.)

*NEW AFTER WORK TIM*: 5-6 PM
*Intermediate Levels: Time: * 4:30-5 PM
*Advance Level: Time:* Thursdays, 4:30-5 PM

Linda Scheer has practiced the art of Tai Chi since 1988 and has been teaching it since 1995. Her Tai Chi Senior Instructor is Cheng, I-Chung. Her study includes the Integrated Nan-King Tai Chi Chuan Long & Short Form, Qi Gong, Push Hands, San Shou, Ba Gua, and Martial Qi Gong. She has a Masters in Vocational Rehabilitation and extensive experience in meditation and education.
