I offer beginning to advanced private saxophone lessons as well as beginning to intermediate clarinet lessons. Currently I was the Affiliate Saxophone Professor at Western Washington University and have been teaching for over twelve years both privately and in music programs on both the East and West coast. I absolutely love teaching people of all ages and levels and tailor lessons around the needs and wants of my students. I also coach saxophone quartets/woodwind ensembles/sectionals/etc.
About me: I received my BM from the University of Washington and my Masters in Saxophone Performance from the New England Conservatory in Boston. I have performed with many well-known ensembles such as the Seattle Symphony, the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra, the Boston Civic Orchestra, the Tanglewood Contemporary Orchestra and the North Seattle Symphonic Band. I've toured the Netherlands with the Boston-based Thump Saxophone Quartet as well as toured the Pacific Northwest with my current group the Northstar Saxophone Quartet.
