Description
Ki-Aikido classes focus on the individual development of 'Ki,' or mind and body coordination. Through basic movement exercises, martial arts throws and relaxation techniques (such as breathing meditation), students learn self defense and increase personal effectiveness in their lives. This four-week introductory course provides beginners with an opportunity to train in a safe, friendly environment with experienced instructors. Seattle Ki Society is affiliated with Ki Society International in Tochigi Japan, under founder Koichi Tohei Sensei.
