Evening Classes will be at 6:00pm-07:20pm MW Rm1701 SecS3 and SecS4, 4:00pm-05:50pm MW Rm2614 SecS3, 7:30pm-09:20pm MW Rm2614 SecS4.
Survey of microorganisms with focus on healthcare applications. Structure, classification, metabolism and genetics of bacteria and viruses are main themes. Emphasis on disease process, microbial control and immunology. Laboratory techniques include isolation and identification of bacteria. Prerequisites: BIOSC 201 required. Chemistry 101 recommended. Student option grading.
