This intensive 3-day
President’s weekend workshop combines
hands-on exercises, design assignments, and
useful critiques with clearly explained theory.
Learn to anticipate, and manipulate, color
effects while studying the wonderful but
complex interactions of color. The class
integrates theory from Johannes Itten (“The
Elements of Color”) with the exciting, amazing
demonstration cards and manipulative
exercises of Joseph Albers (“Homage to the
Square” painter and color theorist). The class
is open to anyone interested in learning the
fundamentals of color.
