Description
Beginning with the 4-track recorder craze of the late 80s/early 90s and continuing with the proliferation of inexpensive new microphones and digital recording programs, home recording has increasingly become the norm. Students will begin with basic analog techniques and learn how to get good sounds with minimal mics and tracks. Wondering what to buy to get your recordings off the ground? Discussions will cover new recording programs , podcasting , and what type of equipment to use. This is a four-hour workshop.
