THE SCHOOL: Our school was designed with you the student in mind. We have built a customized bar for you to learn at. Our bar is complete with every tool a bartender will ever need from soda guns to bar spoons.

CURRICULUM: Anyone can be taught recipes to memorize. Chain schools teach the same recipes nationwide. We take you a step beyond. Not only do we teach the basics and the most popular drink recipes in Washington and nationally; We teach you to build your own recipes; a true Mixologist or bar chef! Inevitably to respond to the age old request: Bartender make me something good!” Then we show you how target your resume and job search for the hospitality industry and once you land that job, how to provide customer service that will be rewarded with excellent tips.

LIQUOR SELECTION: Flairbourne boasts a liquor selection that will put most bars to shame. With over 140 different liquors and cordials for you to learn from you will surely be building a strong product knowledge base. (Note: We use artificial non alcoholic substitutions for training purposes)

SCHEDULING: Here is where it gets real good! Only at Flairbourne will you get a customized schedule around your busy life! No more trying to make the schools schedule fit yours. At Flairbourne we will make your schedule work for us. You can only do Monday and Wednesdays at 2pm...Not a problem! Can only do Saturdays at 4pm...sounds good. You let us know what will work for you and we will make it happen. Your time at Flairbourne will be well spent covering every aspect of the bar. Unlike other schools that claim to teach you how to bartend in 40 hours, we do not put a time limit on your learning experience. Most students reach there graduation status between 28-32 hours of class time 8 days or less.

Pricing Details

COST: Why is Flairbourne's tuition $350 while other schools charge upward of $500? Well it's easy. Since we are a privately owned trade school you will avoid all the overhead the chain schools will charge you. You also will not be expected to pay a penny more than the initial tuition of $350. This price includes your books, Class 12 liquor permit, class time (8 days at 3-4 hours per day), job placement assistance, and lifetime practice availability. Other school's tuition may start lower, but after all the hidden fees, you will be paying far more than the "introductory rate".
