Description
In this exciting workshop, you will learn about equipment, tools, materials and safety procedures as we practice manipulating hot glass to form beautiful glass beads. We will cover winding the glass and shaping the beads, as well as, pulling stringer & twisted cane, dot placement and surface design techniques. This is a beginning class, so no experience is necessary, but there is LOTS to be learned, even if you already have some beadmaking experience. You will come away from this class with a handful of cool beads that YOU made, an appreciation for this ancient artform, and quite possibly, a new addiction!
