"good intro talk"
Review of Seattle Free School , June 02, 2008
first off, i commend jessica (founder and main teacher of freeschool) for her energy and enthusiasm around community based education. i love the idea of learning from my neighbor : )
the talk itself on bees, was a good way to get an overhead view of the long list of things i have yet to learn about bees and the equipment, tools and materials i'll need to get started.
she provided us with references for websites, books and beekeeping societies. she also gave us plenty of hands on time with the equipment and allowed us to ask questions.
i left really excited and interested in learning more about bees and beekeeping! yum honey!!
