Description
Students will explore epidemic disease from multiple perspectives, including scientific, political, economic, religious, and artistic. The Bubonic Plague of the Middle Ages will serve as a paradigm for studying individual and cultural responses to other historical and modern epidemics. Prerequisite: Completion of ENG 100 or placement into ENG 101. Student Option Grading.
