Description
If you're involved in a company's marketing -- either on staff or as an advisor -- social marketing is something it's definitely time to learn about. We're talking about blogs, Facebook, MySpace, YouTube, Digg, and Technorati (to name a very few). This arena offers limitless opportunities for local and regional firms to get in front of customers and prospects, and equally large opportunities to lay an egg. So, in this workshop we'll cover: >The basics: key terms, the players, and success stories >How companies can build and manage their reputation through social networking sites >The role of blogs (your own and outsiders') in spreading news about your organization >Why and how to put together your own audio/video content and build an audience for it >Measuring the success of your social networking efforts.
