Getting started on Tumblr

Have you ever tried to keep a personal blog, run out of things to write, and abandoned it after a few weeks? Tumblelogging could be the answer!

Tumblelogging gives you an easy way to post short thoughts, pictures, videos, music, and more, without the the complexity and obligations of always having to write long blog posts. There's also a social side to tumblr, in which you can follow and be followed by other users, allowing you to make new friends and discover new things.

We'll meet at a coffee shop with wi-fi, and I'll walk you through the concepts of tumblelogging, as well as the process of setting up a free account on tumblr (my favorite tumblelogging platform).

I'll show you how to get the most out of your tumblr account including posting from your computer and phone, customizing the look and feel of your blog, adding comments, and more.
