Description
The Squadron Boating Course is the traditional introductory boating course that more than 3 million people natonwide have attended. Learning to boat safely is important and the increased knowledge will enhance your safety on the water and your enhoyment of the sport.
This class qualifies you for the Washington Boater Education Card, as well as insurance premium discounts with many insurers. The State card requirement is being phased in depending on your age.

"Great value - comprehensive introduction to boatin"

We learned a great deal from this class. Most notably, we learned what we didn't know. This is a comprehensive classroom course covering safety, basic navigation, handling, regulations, etc.
It is well structured and paced. The instructors are experienced and friendly. And upon successful completion, we were qualified for our Washington State Boater Education Card.
We were so satisfied with the course that we joined the Power Squadron and have started our second class on Seamanship.
