Fun and relaxing; these inspiring adult wheel throwing classes are great for the beginner and intermediate clay person. Class meets every week, and are offered throughout the year. We offer basic understanding and techniques of centering and throwing, as well as advanced 1 on 1 instruction to foster your creative abilities. It is a magic clay class that will delight and awaken your soul. Join us and see what you can do!

We also offer fun and unique kids classes--please call Jefferson Community center for an updated list of classes and fees.

Please Note: For those on a budget...These classes are the best kept secret in Seattle! Check us out.

Classes are offered through the Seattle Parks Dept. at the Jefferson Community Center on Beacon Hill, Seattle. Classes are on Monday & Wed. evenings. As well as a possible Monday day class. (206) 684-7481

Pricing Details

Adult classes; 10 weeks for $145 + clay.
Kidz classes, please call Jefferson Community Center for prices.

For the clay enthusiast: A "Clay Pass" is available for only $25/quarter. This allows the student to practice whenever the center is open, during non-class times. It's a great value.
