Canning and preserving is not just for summertime; juicy citrus is at its peak in winter, and preserving it for later use is like storing sunshine in a jar. Savory spreads and condiments to complement winter meals are another highlight of the winter canning kitchen. Roxanne will demonstrate how to make Sunny Citrus Marmalade, Pear Chutney, Red Onion Relish and Apple Butter. Plus she’ll give you plenty of tips and guidelines for canning methods and safety techniques. Vegetarian; no dairy or eggs.
