Single class, Sunday only : $19;
10 class Sunday Groove class card : $170

We accept cash and checks. There are no refunds on purchased cards.

  Review of Wassa Dance , May 13, 2008

  I’m lovin’ it! The vibe at the classes is warm and inclusive…not always the case at other dance offerings I’ve tried. Dance doesn’t feel like a competitive sport at Wassa Dance … it’s an accessible way of celebrating our bodies, our humanity and our connection to the universe.
  Lara McIntosh is a gifted teacher and she approaches Wassa Dance with a deep respect for each person’s body wisdom and individuality, coupled with a spontaneous joy that is soooo contagious.
  And…the music is sublime. At the Monday through Saturday classes, there are constantly changing recorded mixes of traditional and popular African, Afro-Latin and African American grooves. On Sunday, there’s live music with a goup of amazingly talented musicians who play regularly for the class.
  Finally!! After years of looking, I found a dance class that not only creates well-being, but speaks to my soul and fires my imagination.
