"Take Your Digital Photography to Next Level!"
Review of Photographic Center Northwest , November 20, 2008
If you're serious about improving your photography skills, I highly recommend exploring the classes at the Photographic Center Northwest, www.pcnw.org. I have now taken Digital Photography 1, Digital Photography 2, Digital Imaging, and Digital Printing. All have been great classes. The instructors are very knowledgeable, encouraging, and accessible. The Digitial Photography classes are intense! Be prepared to spend at least ten hours outside the classroom taking photos and printing. However, if you're like me, you'll appreciate having a little pressure to practice! The Digital imaging and printing classes dive deep into Photoshop to help you produce the best image possible. With each class I've taken, I've seen improvement in my technical and artistic skills. It's also inspiring to be surrounded by people that share my passion for photography.
If you're wondering about the price, it may seem a little steep, but it's totally worth it. I've taken other photography classes at University extension programs and community colleges, and they don't quite measure up. PCNW is open to total beginners, experienced amateurs, and aspiring professionals -- and the instructors handle this range of experience well. They take their teaching seriously and really seem to be invested in helping students improve.
I highly recommend PCNW!!
