Description

Shooting in the digital RAW file format rather than jpeg offers many advantages, and is the choice of most professionals and advanced amateurs. In this workshop we will discuss the advantages (and the few disadvantages) of RAW, and delve into each feature of Adobe's extremely powerful Camera RAW converter. We will cover workflow by processing many images at once, using synchronization, presets, saved settings, and Bridge. While we will not continue into Photoshop, we will discuss the role of Photoshop in the RAW workflow. (This class is not appropriate for those who use or plan to use Lightroom as the core of their image editing workflow).
