Description

In this course, students will delve deeper into Photoshop while experimenting with and developing their own aesthetics. The class will focus on the use of precise selections and masks to manipulate color and tone with adjustment layers, while also continuing to investigate camera raw. In addition, students will work on improving their control over the formal aspects of image-making such as composition, while experimenting with the collage techniques available in Photoshop to push their images beyond reality. This class is designed for students who enjoy working with Photoshop and want to continue to learn what it can do to enhance their art.

PREREQUISITE: Digital Imaging 1 or Equivalent.
