Beginning/Intermediate Agility

Seattle, WA

Description

Beginning Agility is for dogs that have completed the Introductory Series of classes, or its equivalent. This class will focus more on course work, with individual obstacle work as needed. We will continue to work on handling skills, and will begin to talk about agility trials for those interested in competing in the future. If you are not currently enrolled at this level, please check with the instructor before enrolling.

Intermediate Agility is for dogs that are proficient on all obstacles (except weave poles). If you and your dog are not currently enrolled in this class, you will need instructor permission to join. We will work on sequencing of obstacles, and regularly work on courses and handling skills. We will also talk more about the different agility organizations and preparing to trial our dogs. This will be an ongoing class, so each session will be geared to the needs of the dogs currently enrolled.
