At Creative Music Adventures, we use the latest advancements in technology along with time-tested curriculum to offer our drum students the highest quality instruction. Having an acoustic drum kit along with an electronic Roland V-drum set enables both the student and instructor to play simultaneously. The electronic drums also contain educational tools and software that assist in rudimental, speed, and tempo accuracy while allowing the student to explore the now-common world of drum programming and MIDI.

Whether you are just starting out or are ready to explore new levels in your playing, our instructor's musical expertise and down-to-earth approach is the right fit for the modern drummer.

Beginners:
Drum lessons at Creative Music Adventures are designed to teach students the basic fundamentals of the drums, while also ensuring that they are spontaneous and fun. Some of the areas covered include grip, elements of rhythm, rudiments, technique, reading music, mechanics, developing practice routines, learning beats from your favorite songs, and timekeeping basics.

Intermediate & Advanced:
For students who are ready to move on to the next level, these lessons will include: Rhythm section and ensemble playing, music theory and analysis, improvisation, preparing for auditions, and developing a unique personal sound. Many of our advanced students have earned scholarships and awards at major High School jazz festivals for their performances.
