Business English Internship Class

Description

The Business English Internship Class (BEIC) gives you the opportunity to gain practical experience while you become more fluent in English. This happens in two parts during two quarters:

Quarter 1: You prepare for the internship while you are completing one of these certificate programs:

* Intensive Business English Program
* English for Tourism and Hospitality
* Business for International Professionals

Quarter 2: You work in an unpaid position for a local company and attend a weekly seminar.

When you successfully finish the internship class, you will receive a letter from the UW explaining what you did during your internship and a certificate of completion from the University of Washington English Language Programs. Internships do not lead to jobs or work visas in the United States.

BEIC is a great way to refine your business English skills, learn first-hand what work expectations are in the US, and meet Americans!
