Description
Salle Auriol offers a beginning group class for students with no experience, or for those wishing to improve basic knowledge. Footwork, fitness specific to fencing are covered along with basic offensive and defensive tactical skills. Classes include warm-up, drills and bouting. All equipment is provided.

I really enjoyed the beginning fencing class taught by Russ & Lucas. It gave me something to look forward to every Tuesday & Thursday. The lessons are concise, well planned for beginners, and when we were finally able to actually fence, I felt that I actually had an idea of what I was doing rather than just pointing a sword at my opponent & charging.
Both Russ and Lucas are wonderful instructors, both patient and thorough. I would recommend this class to anyone with an interest in fencing.
The club itself is very well run, and a pleasure to spend time in.
Thank you for such a fun course, I'm really enjoying the "Intermediate" class now.
