Private Pilot Ground School

Wings Aloft offers "Real World" Ground School programs, for both Private Pilot and Instrument Ratings, in state-of-the-art teaching facilities. Far more in-depth than simple, "test-prep" courses, these programs are carefully designed to provide you with a thorough knowledge of the course material.
Both courses combine 50 hours of lectures, visual presentations, group discussions, field trips and practical exercises to create a total and comprehensive learning experience. Students will receive training in all subject areas required by FAR 61 and FAR 141, and be fully prepared to take the FAA written test upon completion. Course attendance is limited to 15 students, and taught by two instructors, to ensure a proper teaching environment.
Class Hours
Weekdays: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Weekends: 8:30am - 5:30pm (1hr. lunch)
**Students also need to purchase the Jeppessen Private Pilot Kit, available at Wings Aloft for $289 + tax.
