Description

In this class, students will learn the basics of Garden Design, enabling them to work towards their own design. Topics to be covered will include basic design elements, such as form, texture, color, shape and scale, as well as plant ombinations, creating a focal point and developing your own style. Low maintenance and low water gardening will also be discussed and students will be encouraged to develop their own designs for gardens. A notebook of ideas, photographs, plant groupings and types will be kept as well.
