The Lazy Locavores specialize in turning your small space into a bounty of season fruits and veggies. Now, more than ever, it is crucial that we take control of our food safety and our food budgets. Let us show you how we did it and how you can too!

We will assess your space and give you a realistic plan for accomplishing your food needs. Whether you are looking to cook with the freshest of herbs or you are looking to feed your family healthy, homegrown produce, we can help.

Our classes are one-on-one consultations where we show you what you can do in your space. Then, you have the option of either taking over the project yourself, using us as mentors on a continuing basis, or, if you like, we can do the farming for you and you reap the rewards!

Patios, balconies, townhouse plots, parking strips, window boxes, kitchen windows... there's no reason you can't be enjoying your own homegrown food in just a few short months.

The Lazy Locavores will show you the most efficient, easiest way to get the most out of your small space!

Review of Small Space Edible Gardening, March 18, 2009

I have known The Lazy Locavores, Shannon and Jason, for quite a while now and have visited their patio jungle (and it’s just that!) many times. The guys have amassed a wealth of knowledge about gardening and sustainability and are excellent at translating what I, for the longest time, found confusing and frustrating into something that I can do with ease. They are there to listen to my questions and have assisted me with everything from growing herbs in small container pots, to natural pest control, to shopping at my local farmer’s market (something I never quite understood before).
Another thing I really appreciate is that they always practice what they preach and are super-excited to help anyone learn about growing edibles, lowering food costs and living a healthy sustainable lifestyle on a budget. They are currently putting their knowledge back into the community by volunteering their time and talent to Community Harvest of Southwest Seattle and at least a couple of community gardens.

    Thanks Guys!
