Ear training is the most important part of musical education.

Every musician naturally develops powers of musical perception, but there are ways of practicing that accelerate the process.

I think of the musical ear as involving literally the whole body, most of the senses, the mind, imagination, really every aspect of living.

My methods of teaching are experiential and adaptable to any music.
I break ear training down into 3 basic practices which focus on tone, time, and music theory.

In the course of this training you'll have a chance to learn basic vocal skills, hand percussion, and keyboard proficiency.

Most importantly, you'll learn how to apply the 3 basic practices in your musical life.
