The course is a six-hour non-credit (6 CEU) program developed in collaboration with Seattle Emergency Management and the UW Department of Construction Management. While a number of builders and contractors offer retrofit services in the Seattle area, potential clients cannot easily assess the capability of these professionals. Completion of this course provides the means to establish this capability. This course also enables builders and contractors to enhance their skills and expand their business into new areas. Participants receive extensive materials as part of the course. The names of licensed contractors who complete this course are made available to homeowners.

Review of University of Washington Extn, October 17, 2008
I took a couple semesters of Writing Fiction at UWE in 2005/2006 and enjoyed them immensely. The quality of the teachers they brought in to lead the program were extraordinary!
