Description
Interested in solar heating and electricity (PV), alternative building systems and materials? We'll briefly cover energy conservation, active solar water heating, hybrid systems and retrofits. The emphasis will be on passive solar, PVs (photovoltaics) and sustainable design in the Northwest. It works! Lastly, construction and performance details will be discussed. No experience necessary. Instructor is a certified building designer, owns a professional business and has been designing solar homes and remodels since 1987.
