SUMMARY OF GRAMMATICAL and THEMATIC FOCUS:
1. Italian Phonology, Pronunciation, and Diction;
2. Detailed study of the structure and logic of Italian Grammar and Syntax;
3. Detailed study of the forms, meaning and application of the tenses, aspects and moods of Italian verbs;
4. Stylistics and the Italian vocabulary of specific situations;
5. Conversational Italian in the context of specific situations representing daily life in Italy.
6. Geography and History of Italy.

  Mr. A. Montagnac provided all the language learning tools that I needed for a business trip to Rome in his 10 week course. In this time period I learned Italian phonology, pronunciation, and some key conversational phrases because Mr. Montagnac provided a well-organized approach to learning Italian. His teaching technique included grammatical and conversational exercises in class and homework that added to my understanding and beginning skill with the language. I can recommend Mr. Montagnac without reservation.

  Mr. Montagnac is a gem! He is a dedicated teacher: kind, meticulous, and perceptive. His classes are fun, and his exercises are entertaining and effective. Rather than simply learning to parrot back memorized phrases, his focus on fundamental structures will give you the tools to express your own ideas creatively and to pronounce them with confidence. Individual attention helps refine your accent while in-class conversations develop fluency. If you work with him, you can make real progress in learning to speak Italian.
