Description
In this class we will use a ring as our palette to explore the basics of making settings for faceted stones and investigate creative options for cabochons or other found objects. This is an intermediate-level class designed to challenge your technical skills as we create complex and delicate elements with challenging joints to solder. Even if rings are not your thing this is a great opportunity to learn alternatives to bezel setting. Rings for Beginners and Silversmithing and Jewelry Design: Introduction Workshop or equivalent experience required.
