Perfect activity for you and your out of town guest! You get to come aboard my fun houseboat (the H.M.S. Pee Wee's Playhouse) on Lake Union (just around the corner from "Sleepless in Seattle", and use my equipment, which includes several different fonts of metal stamps. Choose from block or typewriter, american sign language manual alphabet and hebrew, upper and lower case and lots of little cute designs. You'll learn about various metals, how to line up metal stamps for stamping, stamping techniques, finishing and polishing... all hands on, and leave with at least several finished projects. You can make pendants, cuff bracelets, bookmarks... and the views from the houseboat are sublime!! What a unique and quintessential Seattle experience!

These are semi-private lessons. I teach a maximum of 3 at a time.

I have made a lot of improvements since that show was filmed. Don't reinvent the wheel... just come learn the secrets to metal stamping from me!!

I've also had my jewelry and jewelry projects featured in many magazines and have taught many crafts at many skill levels. I LOVE to teach and, being a craftaholic, I'm also passionate about what I teach!

Pricing Details

The three hour session costs only $95 per student. Bring a friend and save 10% on both your fees!! This includes plenty of basic materials to leave with several finished projects. Extra supplies, including sterling silver are available for purchase.
My schedule is very flexible. I work for myself as an artist and jeweler, and my studio is in my home, so I can teach on weekdays, weekends, and evenings! I'm at your service!

  Julie is a wonderful teacher - you're guaranteed a great time in her classes! Oh...a bonus is that you get to take classes at her houseboat on Lake Union...talk about amazing views! Spring is here and now is the time to take a FUN class with a group of your friends! Highly recommended!
