Have a kayak or sup and want to brush up on your skills for summer?
Just bought a sea kayak or sup and need to learn the basics?
Need help buying a kayak or sup?
Want to learn to Surf Kayak or stand up paddle?

We offer custom instruction for those wanting to improve their skills or novices wanting to learn the basics. We keep our classes small to give you greater attention and thus offer a safer environment to learn in. We also offer guide services and instruction outside of Seattle. Contact us for rates.

Ballard based instructor Rob Casey has experience guiding and teaching with several local retailers, and enjoys sea kayaking and surf kayaking, with additional experience in whitewater. He was profiled in the Feb 2006 issue of Sea Kayaker Magazine for three Shilshole Bay rescues in 2005. He is also the co-organizer of a local surf kayak competition, the Hobuck Hoedown, held annually on the Washington Coast.

Note: I'm not a retailer, but can suggest the best local retailers to rent or purchase from.
