Description
Join us for a fall sea kayak exploration of Elliott Bay and the Alki Peninsula as we scout for curious harbor seals and migrating sea birds. No experience is necessary, and this outing will be designed as an introduction for those interested in learning more about sea kayaking. After about 30 minutes on the beach fitting equipment and discussing sea conditions and kayak handling we will launch towards the mouth of the Duwamish River and tuck into some seldom seen waters before heading around toward Alki Beach and views of the city and Olympic peaks.
